“Products you can rely on” 

Richard Western manufacture the best agricultural trailers around. Farmers cannot afford breakdowns during harvesting and buy Richard Western’s products for their market leading reliability. 

We were appointed to design a new B2B website for Richard Western with the main objective of showcasing their impressive product range and promoting their increasingly wide network of national and international dealers.

Product pages for Richard Western’s trailers and muck spreaders were a design challenge. As with any high-end, technical product, there is a lot of information that potential buyers might want to see; from features and downloads, to dimensions and video. 

Our answer was to design a very user-friendly set of tabs that allow people to seamlessly move from one piece of content to another, without getting lost.

Premium positioning

The Richard Western brand is synonymous with high quality and this was essential to show in the new website design. Strong messaging such as “Products you can rely on. Quality you can trust” combined with video, imagery and great branding achieve this goal to the highest level.

Find a dealer 

Richard Western rely on their network of dealers to sell their products to farmers. Potential customers will want to know where they can buy their products. Our challenge was to design user friendly functionality for people to find their nearest dealer.  
 
Our design allows users to select their location and see a list of their nearest dealers. Each dealer has their location, contact details and website listed, making it easy for the customer to get in touch. 

Customer focused content

Many B2B websites make the mistake of trying to show the wrong content. They focus too much on content about the company and not about how they help customers. We made sure Richard Western’s new website has customer focused content such as: 

  • How customers can get support for their products 
  • Events where people can see Richard Western products 
  • Operator and maintenance manuals 
  • A login area for dealers where they can access marketing and manufacturing materials
