Ecoglass are a specialist glass supplier of Insulated Glass Units (IGUs) and processed glass. They’re well known for their expertise in energy efficient glass and their own green credentials.
Ecoglass had gone through considerable changes as a company. They had grown into a national supplier with expertise in energy efficient glass. Unfortunately their website was out of date and did not reflect this.
They needed a website that communicated their expertise, capacity and commitment to quality customer service. Ecoglass lead by example and the new website needed to show how they were to reducing their carbon footprint.
Using our successful FUSION approach to websites, the Bigfork team carried out a full discovery of Ecoglass’ aims, products, customers and competitors. This knowledge is the key to website success.
Rather than just design another website that looks the same as the rest, we looked for the magic that will make Ecoglass stand out. Our competitor website research showed that there was little differentiation in the glass space, with most websites just claiming to be ‘market leaders’.
We brought all this knowledge together into a plan to differentiate Ecoglass with two key messages. The proven expertise of their people, and their commitment to sustainability.
Content, website structure and user journeys were all planned out. You can’t design a website without doing this work first. Design started off with moodboards that showed different approches to colour, images and fonts before we started designing web pages.
The new website needed to show off Ecoglass’ people, so photography and video was commissioned. The final designs showed the key messages of expertise and sustainable credentials throughout the modern design,
As with every B2B website, the Ecoglass website needed to generate quality leads. The new website is optimised for organic search and designed for conversions, with clear user journeys and strong calls to action, placed in all the right places.
“Ecoglass have a strong offering and we really enjoyed the challenge of creating a new website that shows what a great business they are.”
